SHOULDER MOUNT

SETTING UP

You need to consider how much weight you are going to be putting on the shoulder mount, This is because a shoulder mount needs to balance properly. You need to start by putting weight on the back of the mount to counter balance the heavy equipment. The first weight will help to re-center the mount so it wouldn't hang left or right. Next add a weight to the back to help you balance the back of the mount. Finally you can rest the rig on your shoulders to stabilise the shot better.
